Ethotrack can use an inexpensive USB webcam to record videos of your experiment.

Ethotrack allows you to control the recording parameters (image size and number of frames per second) in order to minimize the size of the video files. You can, for example, reduce the frame rate (down to 1 frame per second ) if the recording is particularly long.

You can also delay the start of recording, for example to allow the operator to leave the room.

 Ethotrack can also use video files recorded separately with another software and supports the main video formats such as: avi, mpg, wmv.
