 Individual license

An individual license is linked to a computer and allows, after activation, to use Ethotrack on this computer only. If you want to transfer this license to another computer, you must first deactivate the license on the first computer before you can activate it on the second.

Floating license by USB key

You are allowed to install Ethotrack on multiple computers, but in order to use it on one computer, you must connect the USB license key provided. To be able to use Ethotrack on several computers simultaneously , you must purchase several USB license keys. Without key, Ethotrack runs in trial mode.

Server managed floating license

Ethotrack can be installed on several computers. Licenses are managed by a license server installed on a computer on your network. On startup Ethotrack contacts the server to obtain an available license token. When Ethotrack is closed, the token is returned and can be made available to another user. Without a token, Ethotrack runs in trial mode.

Minor updates of Ethotrack are free. For example: if you buy version 3.1, the license key remains valid for version 3.2, 3.3, etc.
Major updates of Ethotrack are free for a period of 1 year from the date of your purchase. For example: if you buy version 3.1 and if version 4.0 goes live 9 months after your purchase, you can download and use this new version (as well as all 4.x versions). If this version requires a new license key and if you do not receive it automatically, simply contact us using the contact form.
